# (v01) 12.8.4 Cash Remuneration and Yield

## 8.4.1 Yield Program

Members may opt to allocate a portion of their cash to a Money Market Fund (MMF) to earn yield on idle cash positions. The yield program is optional and available to all membership tiers.?

{% hint style="info" %}
**\[TO BE COMPLETED - Subject to membership tier - see Section 9]:**

* Entry Level: Add-on feature
* Professional: Included
* Enterprise: Included
  {% endhint %}

## How It Works

### Allocation

* Members transfer cash from Custody Account to Yield Account via Administration Panel.
* Transfers to Yield Account are subject to a **cut-off time of 10:30 AM CET** for same-day processing.
* Transfers submitted after cut-off are processed next business day.
* Minimum allocation: \[€X / specify]

### Yield Accrual

* Yield is calculated daily based on the MMF’s net asset value (NAV).
* Yield is variable and not guaranteed.
* Yield is credited to Member’s account \[daily / weekly / monthly - specify].
* Historical yield rates are displayed on the Platform.

### Risks

* MMF is subject to market risk; capital is not guaranteed.
* Yield rates fluctuate based on market conditions.
* Redemption may take 2-4 business days.

## 8.4.2 Trading with Allocated Cash

Cash allocated to the Yield Account is **not immediately available** for trading. To use cash in the Yield Account for trading:

### Process

* Member requests transfer from Yield Account to Custody Account.
* If submitted before 10:30 AM CET: Available for trading later that day (typically by 16:00 CET).
* If submitted after 10:30 AM CET: Available for trading next business day.
* Member may place orders once funds are confirmed in Custody Account.

### Important Considerations

* Members should maintain sufficient cash in Custody Account to cover expected trading needs.
* Last-minute transfers may not be available in time for same-day trading.
* Emergency trading may require advance planning to transfer funds from Yield Account.

{% hint style="warning" %}
**\[DECISION REQUIRED - Item 40]:** Confirm MMF provider, redemption timelines, minimum allocation amounts.
{% endhint %}

## 8.4.3 Tax Treatment

{% hint style="info" %}
**TO BE COMPLETED:**

* Tax treatment of yield income
* Member responsibility for tax reporting
* Exchange reporting obligations (if any)
* Jurisdictional variations
  {% endhint %}
